Nordic Noir is a collection of haunting, cinematic textures designed to evoke deep unease, tension, and emotion. Instantly create immersive atmospheres and chilling soundscapes that breathe, scratch, and scream.
It all began when we were asked to compose for two terrifying TV films. But we didn’t just want to score fear — we wanted to build it. To give it form. To make it alive.
So we created our own instrument: The Eerie Board.
A wooden panel armed with screws, rusty springs, bent metal sheets, and long nails, wired with piezo pickups, and tortured through layers of effects for days.
What emerged wasn’t just sound — it was emotionally unstable electricity.
The result far surpassed our expectations.
Nordic Noir isn’t a typical horror toolkit. It’s a living, breathing ecosystem of dread.
It doesn’t whisper — it growls.
It doesn’t follow rules — it shatters them.
Every note pulses with tension, every texture carries the weight of the unknown.
