Moment #HYPERBOUNCE, a san moment WAV

Hyperbounce is a fast-growing underground scene that began taking shape around 2020. It draws inspiration from the swung, off-kilter bass styles of earlier SoundCloud “bounce” music while blending in elements of modern dubstep sound design, distorted underground rap energy, and the bold, maximalist spirit of hyperpop. Dutch producer san has been at the forefront of this movement since before the genre even had a name, alongside artists like carbine and scorpiioh, helping inspire a new generation of producers.

His 2025 debut album “filename”, featuring collaborations with kuru and gunk, represents a new phase in his artistic journey—moving beyond pure technical sound design toward more structured songwriting, with his own vocals taking a central role.

san’s previous kits and FL Studio presets have played an important role in shaping the Hyperbounce community. This latest release marks the first time the #HYPERBOUNCE sound arrives on Splice. The pack includes an extensive collection of bass sounds, featuring powerful loops, growls, stabs, and fills filled with tuned harmonics that blur the boundary between melody and sound design.

You’ll also find heavily distorted drums that swing in unconventional rhythms to create unique grooves, along with synth sounds ranging from catchy melodic ideas to atmospheric textures. While these sounds originate from a specific underground scene, they’re flexible enough to fit into many different genres.
