About Your Instructor

Guido Werner from Cat and Beats was born with headphones on his head and as soon as he could walk he was playing drums.

He worked in several professional studios and has been mixing and mastering for artists from all over the world from small names to bigger names. The work he is mostly known for is a skill he has which he calls ‘reverse engineering’. He can listen to a song and make a 1 on 1 copy of it from scratch.

This odd skill makes him an interesting person to have as your engineer as he can tell what is missing and or should be cut. He also works for mixmasteryou.com where every mix and master that is made is screen recorded so you can watch your project file transform into a ready to release song.
