Mark Governor is an acclaimed composer for 20 feature films and over 200 television series, specials and documentaries, including “Pet Sematary 2”, “Notes From Underground” and his collaboration with Iggy Pop on “The Brave”, directed by Johnny Depp. Mark’s songs and compositions have been featured on TV in “The Daily Show”, “Friends” ,”Spongebob Squarepants”, “No Reservations”, and in feature films “Nebraska”, “Sweet November”, “The Crash Pad”, “Downsizing” and special editions of “The Hobbit” trilogy. As a songwriter and record producer, he has worked with many artists including Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Grant Lee Phillips, Concrete Blonde, Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Carmen Rizzo and Lolo. The Citysound Music sound packs feature construction kits of live instrument ensembles used in Mark’s film scores in a variety of genres including acoustic alternative, jazz, blues, classical crossover, pop and even punk rock.
