Equilibrium 3 marks the third chapter in the acclaimed Equilibrium series, designed by sound designer and producer Arksun and curated by Luftrum. Where the earlier volumes explored the tones of winter and autumn, this release moves into spring—bringing a lighter, more radiant sound palette filled with subtle motion, airy textures, and melodic energy that naturally flows forward.
The character of Equilibrium 3 is defined by delicate detail and movement—micro-shifting elements, gentle upward motion, and evolving harmonics that feel alive and expressive. At its core remains the unmistakable Arksun signature: highly playable patches with refined modulation and a strong focus on musical expression.
Inside, you’ll find 64 brand-new presets for Omnisphere 3. Some are soft and shimmering, ideal for expansive harmonies and slow, emotional progressions that unfold over time. Others reflect the awakening energy of spring, featuring crystalline poly synths, luminous pads, vibrant electronic leads, and arpeggios pulsing with organic life. The library also balances this brightness with depth—offering analog basses, distorted textures, and cinematic undercurrents suited for a wide range of electronic styles.
The included demo track, A Spring’s Tale by Arksun, is created entirely using presets from the collection—no external plugins or effects. It continues the seasonal narrative established by A Winter’s Tale and An Autumn’s Tale, this time capturing a sense of renewal, motion, and creative growth.
As a bonus, Equilibrium 3 includes Equilibrium 3 Mutations, a curated set of 32 additional presets created using Omnisphere 3’s Mutation feature. From over 400 generated variations, only the most inspiring and musically useful sounds were selected for this extra collection.
All presets are organized using Spectrasonics’ category system and are carefully leveled with consistent headroom. Each patch includes dedicated performance controls for mod wheel, aftertouch, and the User CC slot—allowing for flexible MIDI mapping and expressive playability. A PDF installation guide is included.
