Then he demonstrates how the sampler modes, a spectral oscillator, compression, and chorus can be used to create a textured keys patch that can really liven up a track.
Next, you’ll see how to craft a great-sounding synth keys sound with the Spectral mode using the spectral oscillators and stacking several effects. This is followed by a look at creating an evolving pad with the granular oscillators – a nice way of achieving a complex sound without needing multiple modulations. To close out the course, you’ll learn how to make a percussive pluck synth sound using the new wavetables in Serum 2, along with the new phase distortion modifiers.
