Gorden Campbell has worked with the “who’s who” of the music industry. Some of the artist include Earth Wind & Fire, George Duke, Whitney Houston, Jessica Simpson, Mary J. Blige, Neyo, Daughtry, and the American Idol Tour. He has worked on various award shows such as the BET Honors, the Billboard awards, MTV music awards and many others. He can also be heard playing drums on soundtracks such as Dreamgirls (the movie), Be Cool (featuring Will Ferrell), and most recently “The Wiz” TV special. Gorden grew up in Newburgh, NY where he began playing drums at the age of 5 at his grandfather’s church. From there, he took formal lessons from the fourth grade through college where he performed in marching bands, orchestras, concert bands, percussion ensembles and anything else that had to do with music. In 2011, Gorden put out an instructional drum dvd called ” Secrets Of The Working Drummer” (Hudson Limited) Currently, Gorden is in the studio producing artist from every genre including gospel, pop, R&B and jazz.
