How It Was Made
We started with the legendary LinnDrum, recording every hit through a Custom Series 75 mixing console. Each sound was shaped using the console’s built-in compressor and EQ, dialed uniquely for every sample.
To capture true analog grit, every hit was then routed into a separate channel and driven into mic input distortion, producing warm, crunchy, and punchy overdriven versions of each sound.
The result is a library that moves effortlessly between clean vintage tones and beautifully scorched analog textures — all designed to sit perfectly in a mix.
