No Mana Losing Focus (Ableton Project File)
A little context on this one: it marks my first step into faster tempos — kind of a bridge between what I’ve been doing (house / electro house / progressive) and where I’m heading sonically.
Big shoutout to Kuspe, who’s been a real inspiration with his Y2K trance/dance vibes (130+ BPM). Since he sent me a track for mastering last year, I’ve been keen to hear more of his stuff, and eventually one of our demos (his or mine — I honestly can’t remember) turned into this collab. His contributions — especially the ambience and guitars — really tied the track together.
This is also the first time I’ve started implementing Purity in my productions (don’t worry, it’s frozen). It adds this nostalgic, Square Enix main-menu kind of vibe that I’m loving.
And of course, can’t forget Bertie. He’s always sending me ideas and projects to work on — hard not to use his stuff most of the time.
