Assembly Required is the debut collection of sample materials from Samarei Music. While Samarei has been providing compositions to producers such as Cardiak, The Olympicks, J Rhodes, Buda and Grandz, and Trox for years; this is the first time they are available for purchase!
Part psych space adventure, part obscure library record; this genre-defying collection has something for everyone. These 18 otherworldly compositions feature a wide array of instrumentations and dynamic arrangements to provide countless options for sampling. With his background as a classically trained composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer (Open Mike Eagle, Watsky, TeamBackPack); these songs were composed to provide an experience for producers reminiscent of coming home from the record store with a stack of vinyl.
All compositions were written, performed, recorded, and mixed by Samarei himself. By using live instruments exclusively (no midi, no problem!), the character and nuance of the performance can be felt in each recording. Each sample sounds lush, gritty, and full of life.
